"She sings the socks off her numbers and creates a vulnerable, yet powerful stage presence, that's sometimes charged with iron strength, making her all the more lovable."

The night , however, belongs to Erin Bree Pierce who burns a patch off the Firehall stage with a powerhouse performance that suggests the comedy of Canadian star Barbara Hamilton, as well as the full-throated wail of the mature Judy Garland. Pierce has played leading roles as Eliza in "My Fair Lady" and Katharine in "Kiss Me Kate," but she was born to be a character actress, as we soon discover here. Finding the comic heart of lonely women everywhere who long for love and satisfaction, she sings the socks off the heart-tugging ballad "I Will Be Loved Tonight." Later she rocks the heart of a country Western-style song, "Always A Bridesmaid" shooting it right through the roof. Alternating the ribald comedy of "A Stud and A Babe" with the softer, sadder tone of, "I Can Live With That," she creates moments of exquisite theatre.”

“That brings us to Erin Bree Pierce as rambunctious, hot-to-trot Aggie Hannigan. Saucy in a pink silk nightie, housecoat flying, legs akimbo, with a wild mane of hair that looks like a bird's nest on a stormy night, she romps through this cartoon of a role punctuating every sly innuendo and tossing off great pelvic thrusts.

When she hisses out that evil lament "Little Girls," she spews a kind of wild venom that is both funny and fierce at the same time.

When she joins Rooster and Lily to lay some hot licks on "Easy Street" you know this Miss Hannigan has not only been around the block, she's rolled up the sidewalks.”

“But it’s Pierce who is hot stuff, lobbing outrageous characterizations, stealing the show at every turn, singing the pants off her songs.”

“Erin Bree Pierce, is a top-notch Donna Sheridan, the single mom who isn't really sure who the father of her daughter Sophie is. She sings the socks off her numbers and creates a vulnerable, yet powerful stage presence, that's sometimes charged with iron strength, making her all the more lovable. Turn the offstage sound down folks and let the little lady sing. She's got the chops.”
